It Takes Too Long for People in New Roles to be Productive

Insufficient process documentation, training, metrics, and making sure the right person is in the right seat impacts everyone's  productivity.


Solution Path

Getting the right person in the right seat (RP/RS) is critical.


Assessment tools such as Culture Index, Predictive Index and Kolby can used to better screen and check candidates.


EOS tools such as the Accountability Chart, Process Documenter, and Scorecard metrics can also support the effort.


Training needs should be determined prior to the person moving to the new role and who is accountable for making it happen.


Expectations on and by the employee’s manager should be well defined and reviewed.
